Help Guys

Hi guys im still super new to the evom forums. Last night I installed my ETS fmic, and ETS uicp and seemed like everything was fine. Ran the car this morning to test it out,, and now I get this noise coming from the engine bay like hose came off or even sonds like I have a Bov, the car is completly bone stock also car has no check engine light on or anything but just something doesn't feel right. Maybe I wasn't suppose to add this on a stock evo x.

Can you go back and double check to make sure none of the hoses popped off? Theres a lot of clamps involved in the work you did so they may not have been tight enough. Also, You should really be careful about throwing mods on without a tune, you can break things.

Check for a boost leak, loose connections first. Not sure what you mean by sounds like you have a bov, is your stock one just more audible? Replacing the stock rubber UICP with metal will make some of the car noises more audible, that's normal.

Went back checked all clamps and all of them are still on and securely tighten down.

shekaar I want to say your right. That's exactly what it seems like. Seems like the stock bov is more audible, just wasn't sure it that wad suppose to be normal. I checked all clamps and cheked for boost leaks and found nothing wrong. Car is spiking @15 pouds of boost and holding is that normal? The reason I ask is because before any mods it used to spike around the 20ish area and hold at 15. Thx for the help

Yea I'd get a tune, not that running UICP and a FMIC is going to cause tons of issues on a 2012 without one, but you're doing yourself a disservice modding without a tune.

Like a professional tune or is there a way I can get away with it with just an AP, since full bolt ons is the direction im going for. I also purchased a grim speed EBC when should that come in play?

This is stuff you need to research before you buy and install. You cannot use that ebc with a Cobb map....

Please get a professional tune. Build a relationship with a good shop. Your experience with the car will be MUCH improved...
