Mitsubishi Diamond Care warantee worth it?

Mitsubishi Diamond care service contract platinum Plan would give the car bumper to bumper coverage (excludes Maintenance, adjustments and wear items) for 10 years / 100,000 miles whichever comes first.

Is this worth it for $900? With all the talk about AYC cost maybe this is a good idea?

Anyone purchased this for their evo?

So you have 10 year bumper to bumper for free from your dealer on your 2015? Is my dealer pulling a fast one on me?

Come on guys, you can see it all on Mitsubishis website. Do some research.

Everything but the Evo and Ralliarts have 10yr/100k powertrain warranty and 5k/60k new vehicle warranty.

Evo and Ralliarts have 7yr/100k anti-corrosion warranty
Evo and Ralliarts have 5yr/60k powertrain warranty
Evo and Ralliarts have 3yr/36k new vehicle warranty

The dealer is trying to sell me warrantee 10 year bumper to bumper for $900 or something for my Evo Final Edition. Does this sound right or is this a new program?

Well considering the chances you staying stock are approximately -212837957 / 100 over the life of the car to 'just wake it up a bit', I'd say leave that **** on the table and let it ride.

No seriously, you'll mod.

Yes, for sure.

No, really, even then, and a good idea / point, you'll still mod.

Yes we can suggest shops in your area.

Can't wait to see before and after dyno.

I would assume it is a third party warranty. Personally I never buy anything the dealer tries to sell me, other than the car itself.

The finance guy at the dealership I got my GSR from pushed pretty hard to sell me on that same warranty extension but for $2500 ... seriously. Fortunately, my level-headed wife was with me to say no because I'm one of those suckers who always pays WAY too much in warranties and insurance cause I assume I'll have the worst luck. Like with my auto insurance, I'm basically covered if I hit a Mclaren P1 AND a La Ferrari and both drivers try to sue me for medical bills and trauma.

And yes, it's a third party warranty. I think the one I was offered was through All-State.

I agree, you will mod. An extended warranty is not worth it in my opinion. Just keep a cash saving reserve for race car repairs.

The big fat whale with donut stains on his shirt tried to sell me that too, for more than your quoted price. I said pass. These cars are supposed to be really reliable, so I read.

I disagree. Bought my SE out of factory warranty and the Mitsu dealer sold me an after-market one. Low and behold they paid out on a brand new SST trans AND I'm MODDED.

I would say that is an exception to the norm.

I completely agree, but I definitely wouldn't chuck it if you plan on staying bolt-on only. Anything over that and having a warranty is silly anyway.
