hi ive been a long time car guy but this car is the fastest thing i have ever owned
i have a 2008 evolution mr with a few extra goodies:
ets 4" intercooler and stainless piping
ets v2 extreme exhaust
ets external dump downpipe
map ef4 turbo turbosmart wastegate actuator
map short runner exhaust manifold
map rev2 3.5" intake
map intake heat shield
gsc stage 2 cams
gsc titanium springs and retainers
+1mm ferrea valves
ported and polished head
fuel injector clinic 1350cc injectors
double walbro 255 fuel pumper
synapse diverter valve
map oil catch can
ssp coil cover
fortune 500 coilovers
tein camber plates
cobb electronic boost controller
mb battle 18x9 wheels
and apparently tuned by crucial performance in Columbus, all this stuff was on a hand written list that came with the car, its currently running on e85 and has yet to be dynoed or tuned while in my possession i have no clue what kind of numbers this thing is really putting down and because i live in cleveland its becoming very difficult for me to find a tuner within range seeing as how this thing is getting like 13mpg

Welcome and quite a car you have there if it is all dialed in.
Of note, your year car had issues with the timing chain stretching. I would get that sorted sooner rather than later just to be on the safe side.

Welcome to the forum! You've got a pretty good mod list there. Do you happen to know if anything has been done to the trans on the car? The amount of power that thing could potentially make on E85 will pull through the stock clutches.
Buschur Racing is about 45 mins from Cleveland. It would be worth giving them a call.

i actually was running e85 on it for a short bit with no change in the tune and it ran a little lopey but not bad at all
it pulls so hard that a WOT pull from 2-3 will have 3rd struggling to hold so im moving back to 93 for now not to mention im getting like 10mpg
i believe it has some sort of stepped boost setup that is dependent upon throttle position because the boost will vary from 20ish to 29psi
it hasnt had any transmission work done, if i were to put any money into building it further i would start there then finish anything undone in the engine
but as it stands i really just want to turn it down a little and make sure the tune is sorted, i dont really need e85 street crushing power when im driving downtown (unless its the highways)
also whats the deal with like no evo groups in the northeast ohio area

dam buying a car like this is like buying a puzzle from a thrift store. you don't know if all the pieces are there until you put it back together.
start from the bottom, all basic check ups, then all maintenance done (even if he says it was done)
I would not WOT the car until I got a tuner, plug it in and see what going on there.
people only sell cars like this for two reasons. 1. emissions **** they no longer want to deal with. 2. its become a hassle to own and operate. there are exceptions but you never know unless you tear it down a bit.
lastly expunge the MB battles: find a nice set of stock enkei (resist the urge to Plasti-dip them black)

yup because i live in cleveland i have to register this bad boy as a street legal track car specificly to be used to drive to and from track type events
the issue is that i dont have reciepts proving what modifications were done to it so right now im working with my mechanic and a 3rd party appraiser to verify everything
once all that BS is taken care of the car will never need to meet emmissions for cuyahoga county and in my personal opinion the value will go up immensly
other than that i pretty much run it for 5-10 min once a week just to keep the fluids circulating
