Driven: Evo X Final Edition
nice article, and I like the classy way, how you left out the real impression of the front seats. Red stiches wont make it up... lol
ps: I cant understand why people don't like bodyroll.

You have to have some, to have a precise feel on not mirror smooth surfaces, and we all know 99.9% of the time you never will drive on surface like Hungaroring or Imola etc. So you need body roll.
lol

Funny you mention, but this is my 4th Evo X. Being 225 pounds, I don't exactly fit all that comfortable in the Recaros. Part of the reason I sold the other cars, because when I was at the track, they were fantastic, but on the street where the car spent 99.9% of the time, for me they sucked. I should mention, I'm almost 40, so it might have something to do with the situation. In comparison, the seats in the FE are comfortable. Yes, I wish they had a bit more bolstering, but I know the tradeoff. With that being said, I'll probably pick up a set of Recaros because they will become harder to find, I could bolt one in for when I go to the track, and when time comes to sell the car, I'm sure I'll be dealing with the "omg lol no recaro ftw" crowd, and will make my car more valuable.
Lol very true man. You made some good points there. The seats are comfortable in the 2015 Evo's, jus doesnt bolster you in as you said. It shouldnt be a deal breaker for sure, but I do like that red stitch tho.
Love my 15' and I'm so happy to have an evo but like someone else said your butt runs out of grip before the tires do. This is sometimes my problem. Eventually I'll throw some recaros in but in the mean time for DD these seats are pretty comfortable and have never agrivated my existing back injury so I can't complain
Yes, it's a solution, but that isn't exactly pocket change. And now you're out $1,200 and stuck with a set of useless Lancer seats in your garage, unless you can sucker some teenager with a Lancer into buying them to upgrade their non-red stitched seats to red stitched seats.

Are you a drama queen? People here have no issue spending $1000+ for a cat back that by itself, does nothing. $1200 is a problem for seats? Stuck with "useless seats in my garage"? Wow, you're really reaching here. Perhaps in your neck of the woods, they have no things such as cragslist, ebay and worse case scenario, a garbage can. Why don't you stick to the evo 9 forums?
