Will Recaros fit 2015 Rails?

As the title states. I found a set of Recaros but not 100% sure if the stock rail will work or not?

I'm not totally sure, but I remember seeing a how-to on installing the recaros in a 15' GSR. Not sure if it was on this forum or over on evoxforums. It might have the info you need in the post or one of its comments.

Can you elaborate on this at all?

I was actually just talking to someone who did the swap about this the other day (via PM on these forums), and we came to the conclusion that we weren't sure.

I have a set of Recaros (with rails) that I will be installing in my car once the weather improves and I can get the car out of my garage, but I haven't tried it yet. I was going to see if I could use my new rails because, well, they're new.

One of my concerns was the fact that the driver's side in the 2015 has an adjustable height element. I'm not sure if that can simply be removed or not. My other concern was that I haven't been able to take the seats out of my car to compare the rails yet, so I have no idea how similar they are.

I will post back any info that I find once I do the swap, but I would love to know the answer to this as well if someone already has an answer to it in the meantime.

Do the swap and let us know, I have a pair of recaros on my X and a friend with 2015 will buy mine and do the swap too soon, either way I'll give him all the hardwares from mine but knowing if their rails will fit or not will be a good info. Thanks

The rails are different, which is why you need to use the recaro rails. Look at both and you'll see the difference in the way they bolt up to the seat

That's what I wasn't sure about. I don't have room in my garage to remove my 2015 seats, so I wasn't sure if this was the same or not.

I guess cleaning up the rails on the Recaros that I got wasn't a waste of time after all.. now I just need some nice weather so I can install them!

I used my 2015 rails to retain my weight sensors which are VIN specific. Easiest way to keep from getting the CEL and avoids having to use resistors.

you need to swap the weight sensors, but the rails are not the same. You also need to use the 2015 seat belt buckles, or else you'll get an airbag light on

You're talking about the bracket, not rails.
