Vortex Generator for a FE

I am looking to get the Rexspeed SSS Vortex Generator from Lancer Shop for my Final Edition. Does anyone know if this will fit? The specs seem good, antenna is basically 9x5cm (though I wouldn't say exact) and the roof has the two humps. Any other suggestions for this part? Thanks!

That looks great too! I am going to go with the paint color one. My Evo is wicked white with the black FE roof, so I am going to go with phantom black and hope it matches.

As far as I'm aware, Phantom Black has a ton of colors in it (the cars have a reddish tint in the sunlight), so I'm almost positive this will not match.

I plan on getting a VG at some point too, and was going to get it painted to match. If you're ordering from Rexpeed, it looks like they have a "Custom Color" option.. maybe you can get the actual color code of the roof and have them paint it that color for you?

I was just wondering about the SSS package because I don't have that. But thanks for your honesty! It's probably that badge that adds the extra HP....

well then ask about the SSS roof vs no SSS roof... you'll get answers faster if you ask questions properly

add different tune to the badge and color thing... which really only counts for anything if you never retune your car

Actually not all FE are built the same, but most have the 9x5cm roof, all will have the grooved roof. There have been a few with the smaller antenna, but most have the 9x5 roof, regardless of what sound system you have.

Since the FR was kind of a "parts bin special", just know 3 things:

color- If you want black, ask for a plain or flat black, the mitsu black will indeed not match the black roof, or go with CF, i did that, not sure how i feel about it.

roof type- grooved 100%

antenna style- if your measures 9x5cm, get the SSS version. it its smaller(5x6cm) and more squared, got the non-SSS. Chances are if you have an FE, it will be the SSS.

Hope this helps, the one i got from rex was stellar, fit and finish. Good luck!

So if I'm reading that right, it's more about the size of the antenna base than if it's an FE or not...?

Correct, either way you slice it, you are going to have to measure the antenna base. Most SSS will have the SSS antenna, but just measure it, 9x5cm=SSS.
