remove passenger side seat belt???

remove passenger side seat belt???

is there any pictures of the star bit i will need to remove passenger side seat belt?? or how to do it. The space is literary 1inch of wiggle room, to get to the screw...

any ideas

lol, take off the plastic cover from the base of the seat. On the back you will see a 14mm (i think) bolt that holds an "L" bracket in place. The hex bit bolt is connected through that "L" bracket, but is a ROYAL PITA to remove.

I would not recommend trying to remove that hex bolt, you most likely will just strip it. Just remove the other bolt from the back of the passenger seat base, far simpler.

I ended up having to use a dremel to cut off the head of the hex bolt when I was trying to remove the seatbelt from the L bracket.

The plastic cover comes off the seat, the bolt isn't that hard to remove. I forget which hex bit size it is, but I used the bit on a socket wrench and it came right off.
