2015 Evo GSR newb introduction

Hi folks, I got a new 15 GSR a few weeks ago and want to show it off and introduce myself to the community.

Backstory on why I didn't have an EVO already: I was shopping for a new 2005 EVO WW RS a decade ago and couldn't find one from the local dealers so I bought a used 2004 STi instead on impulse one day, I still have it.

So I'd found myself looking at a specific phantom black GSR on a dealer's website again and again over the past year watching the price drop little by little. I figured it's my last chance at owning a new-car-smell EVO that had all the options and color I wanted so I bought the stupid thing and it's awesome.

Counting down till mod time, thanks for looking -Ethan

Sure, but I just found myself buried in Fuel Relay search results and I've found some pictures of the fuse box but I'm not really sure what is wrong and what is right.

Could I get a link to a simple picture of how it is suppose to look? Thank you.

Okay got it, thanks everyone! I've got the STi at work now so I'll check the EVO on my lunch break for that fuel relay.

EDIT: Checked it and they're all black Panasonic 8627A030 so I'm good to go!

Thanks! So far I've done a 1000 mile oil change, rally armor mud flaps, weathertech floor mats, replaced the chrome side markers with the ebay lights, and the super technical rear seat headrest delete.

I can tell it's just screaming for a downpipe and tune, but that's just going to have to wait.

Downpipes dont do much on the X. I'd invest elsewhere.

Oh right, I'm not in a Subaru anymore. I'll do some research here and get caught up.

Welcome, but know this a very different car than your Subaru (I come from an 08 STi and have an 05 WRX wagon as another vehicle)

Your modification path will be MUCH different than the Subaru. The downpipe is really not recommended until you have a larger turbo. Initial 'best bang for the buck' modifications are Test pipe, drop in air filter, EBCS, and tune. (various tuners deviate from this list here and there, but that's the main parts to get 'first'.)

Enjoy the car, but approach it as a whole new platform to discover. There is no stage 1 stage 2 stuff here, and Cobb isn't the go to for tuning for most people.

Oh man I was just down in Albany last week with my old man. I got to drive the Mohawk trail road but we were in his Highlander.

I will keep them in mind and try and get down there again real soon, thanks!

Unless you feel itchy a little further south they have CBRD, Moore or Kaizen.

a lot of it also depends on your goals and budget
