Hi everyone. I had a 2005 Evo MR for 10 years, Sold it for a 2015 chrysler 300s.
Well I just traded that in and bought a new 2015 Mercury Grey Final Edition.



I am trying to get familar with the car. Problem I am having is playback with the Ipod USB.


It says Ipod connected, but then says no audio data that can be played.

Its a fourth or 5th gen 80 gig ipod. Build date was Dec 2015 so it should have the latest Fuse update I would think.


Anyone else have a problem or somthing Im doing wrong

Yah the classic iPods don't seem to work with FUSE

You need a flash version to work properly unfortunately. Been that way since 2011 when FUSE came out.

I acquired #1595 a few months ago. Happy to have an Evo again. Sold my 05 GSR about 7 years ago after putting 115k miles on it. Ran the VIN recently and discovered it totaled by the 3rd or 4th owner. :-/

This is a great car but the seats have no lateral support. Anyone know where to buy some new Evo Recaros?

Does your ipod have bluetooth? I find that using the bluetooth feature works way better than using the usb cable connection.

 

Your best bet is finding another Evo owner who is selling their recaros, that way it is plug and play, no codes. New recaros from the dealership will literally run you a few grand per seat.
