Exhaust recommendation

Hi Folks,

I've ready through plenty of the exhaust threads but was interested on some newer opinions. I currently run a Greddy TI-C on my 08 GSR. I was recently pulled over by the great California Highway Patrol. He told me my exhaust was a bit loud and very noticeable since it's a single exhaust exit. He told me he would let me go without a fixit ticket since he was an EVO fan and I should look for something else a bit more quiet and with dual outlets.

Which brands do you guys prefer for a catback that is resonated with dual tips/mufflers? I was leaning towards the Greddy Evo 3 because of the dual exhaust tips and large mufflers but the price is a bit high. The max I was looking to go was 800 or so.

Thanks,
AJ

I have a fujitsubo jasma approved turbo back and is pretty quiet, even under wot.

I think jasma certified means its quiet.

Road race engineering stealth is good also.

Sakura Street exhaust has my eye. Not too loud but great growl to it.

Cobb's dual oval catback. I had this on for 5 yrs around the Bay Area and never had any cop issues. Tips look stock, quiet, but has a nice growl when revved.

Speed Circuit Dual. If you can find one they're probably the best sounding duals out there.

Exhausts are personal preference of what you want the car to sound like. And it would also depend on if you have a goal in mind to race, rally cross, etc. the car. But it appears that you have already made up your mind on what you are getting. Always search youtube for videos of exhausts so you can get at least a somewhat feel for the sound it will make.

Interesting. This clip of the MXP doesn't seem quiet at all.
