MAP Delrin vs AMS V2 shift knob

All,

I'm in the market for a new shift knob, and have narrowed my search down to the two titled. I have found little to no information about the MAP Delrin knob, and zip for the AMS V2 (tall). I'm looking for a shift knob to help with fluidity of motion, and for some reason I feel that taller knobs will do just that.

Does anyone have experience with either of these? If so, what do you like and dislike?

Thanks in advance

MAP Delrin

AMS V2

I haven't used either knob, but I have used similar styles to both. I feel like the stock knob shape fits better in my hand with the ball end. Sometimes I hold the shifter different and that style allows me to do so, unlike with the straighter style knob you're kind of stuck grabbing it like a lever rather than comfortably placing your hand on the top and having a good grip. Just from my experience, not sure on your preference.

Yeah I hear you. I went ahead and picked up the MAP knob so we'll see how she does. Worst comes to worst, I can always get rid of it and pick up the AMS one. I'll post back after I get it installed.

Thanks for the input man

I haven't tried either, but I like the AMS v2 better, just wish it was weighted
