Hello,
Glad to be a part of this forum and hopefully I can stick around for awhile. I'm looking at purchasing a used 2013 Evo MR. Has approx 74000 miles on it and has been modded: AMS IC, ETS Intake and Exhaust. I'm fairly certain it has been tuned with the mods it has, how can I tell for sure? They are asking 25k out the door... Whats ya'lls thoughts? Worth it?
TYIA!

Too much.
I bought my 2012 with 52k for 25,500 last year in March with the SSSL (sight, sound, sunroof, leather) package too (HID, leather recaros and rears, Rockford fosgate). Financed, taxes, and title fees out the door. Mine was bone stock too.

The 4B11 is pretty stout as long as torque isn't pushed too much on the tune. Most know how to tune them by now. I'd be more concerned about the transmission, as they are $10k to replace.
I'd take it to a
dealer or reputable evo shop down there and have them look at it if it if there aren't any service records for the transmission. At a minimum the SST filter and fluids should have been changed by now, preferably twice.

I would look around and compare prices from X's in Georgia and Alabama as there's no issue driving out to get a deal.
You're spending a lot of money on a good car with potential, be ready to travel for a deal.
I still think 25k is still too much with 70k+ miles. If it was 20-22k out the door MAYBE but it's all up to you.

Carfax is one owner/no accidents but moved from Cali to Jersey then down to GA and auction to Pensacola FL... I'm assuming it was owned by a Navy guy or something. Going to try and get the dealer to let me take it for a look over at Mitsubishi.
I agree, I'm going to try and talk them down to 24 out the door at least. If not I just might wait it out and find another one. I'll be deploying soon and should prob wait till I get back anyways...
Yea, just sucks though because it seems Evo's (and WRX's for that matter) are hard to come by in the Pensacola area. Gotta either go down towards Tampa/Orlando or up through Georgia.
