I have a check engine light from my straight pipe, I searched up how to remove it and found the spark plug non fouler method which i tried. I unplugged the battery and CEL turned off for about 2 minutes and turned back on. I was just on Lancer Shop and came across the Weapon R Universal CEL Eliminator I was wondering if anyone has used this and had any success.

 

I don't have a Weapon R piece as there's no way I'm paying $35+US, plus shipping & brokerage fees for something like that - but I made my own in a similar fashion and it works great for about $5. The sharp angle and length of the eliminator to space the o2 sensor far away seem to be key. I passed the strict Ontario Drive Clean test this year with it. No CEL, all the readiness monitors set. Stunk up the entire shop that did it, running catless during the time, but as far as their system is concerned it passed
