SO i hooked up my HID kit with a relay. at first it was fine, then, it is snowing btw, but i drove to the store turned car off like normal and the lights stay on for 30 seconds. They went off, when i came back out they were on. Now testing it while on the road i turned the light switch completely off. They stayed on. I get home, turn car off completely get out lock it and wait. they stay on for 5 minutes. i then get in and rotate the light switch on and off a few times then they shut off until i turn my car back on. i have to consistently rotate the light switch every time they are used to get them to stay off. I have yet to use the car in the daytime so idk if this will happen then too or not.

Bad relay?


Swap and see if that fixes it.

Possible wrong wiring to the relay. should be a ground for switching the power circuit open and closed aka on & off.
