Just Bought An Evo X
Couldnt be more excited.
Yo everyone, I've been browsing around this forum for a few weeks now and I figured I'd join and make a post. I just bought a 2011 Evo X GSR, 115k miles. Got it closer to Houston; kinda curious if anyone knows a previous owner perhaps? Either way, I love it. I just left the Caliber SRT4 world, loved it to death, but **** happens.
Currently I'm having the car E-Tuned by Rob over at Kaizen Tuning. I could tell the car had a tune on it but wanted an accessport so I could at least see what the car was doing. Accessport flashed over the tune, ran crappy and over-boosting, so Rob has been doing an awesome job so far getting it back on track.
Known Mods-
Typhoon intake
Comp RS cat-back
ACT Clutch
Carbon fiber hood
Replaced a slave cylinder on it today because it was leaking but the car is dry and no whines, seems to be happy so far.
Any tips from you guys, or suggestions about anything regarding the car? I've just been gathering as much info as I can; the caliber had a very similar motor to this one, however there are plenty of differences.
Anyway, just wanted to drop a thread, if the previous owner is on here that'd be cool. Thanks for reading
*Ill post photos from my computer shortly, phone is having a hard time
