I only have the rear whiteline sway bar installed right now as the front is a bit of a project and I can say it mad a big difference.

Currently on the middle hole on the rear car with the stock up front. Really help the rear come around in the tighter corners and the car feel more neutral rather than front end pushy when it was stock.

You don't want a front bar with Ohlins. Even the rear isn't really necessary if you have the right spring rates. I run 10k/10k and a rear whiteline bar and I've actually thought about going back to the stock bar.

This is all based off track use. If you are just street stuntin', don't sweat it.

if I were to get coilovers, id definitely get ohlins with a square setup. that being what you have, 10k/10k. But seeing that I am only going to be street stuntin, would lowering springs (swift spec r's) be fine on stock suspension with Front and rear sway bars?

Honestly, I would skip the springs and get a set of Apexi ExV coilovers. You can get them for around $900 and they are great coilovers for the street and honestly, even light track work. They are my favorite budget coilovers.

With my Evo 10, I had swift spec R springs and MR bilstein struts first, I hated it, they rode like total crap. Then I went to the Apexi coilovers because I had a set on my Evo 8 and really liked them for what they where. I wish I had done that first. Only reason I swapped them out is because I got more serious with my Evo 10 for track work.

Anyway, my advice is skip the spring/strut combo and get a set of the Apexi ExV coilovers.

Nice! that's super helpful man, thanks! I originally wanted to get online but im realizing now that I won't be that serious on tracking the car so it might be over kill. I occasionally drive spiritedly through canyons so I should be fine with the Apexi coilovers right? Also, when you ran the set you recommended, what spring rates did you have?

The Apexis are perfectly fine and great on the street and for having fun in the twisties. They are even okay at track days if you aren't super serious yet. I used the off the shelf rates which are 8k/8k.

Just install them, get an alignment and have fun.
