I just got a used 2008 Mitsubishi lancer Evolution MR. One day I was looking to see if my car can have the option to install Rockford Fosgate Premium sound. When I pull the driver seat out to see if there was a bracket for Amplifier there wasn't one but it had this plastic thing that for some reason i can not find what it is in the manual or online. Can anyone identify this for me. Also just under the foot rest where the brake pedal is I notice a thread fora bold sticking out and wonder if I am missing interior cover in that section.

What is that plastic piece and what is it for?


I feel like something missing there cover that up.

 

The second one there is usually a plastic nut on that exposed thread.
