Re-tune?
Re-tune?
Hello Everyone,
I was researching and found out from a lot of people that a resonated test pipe will cause less droning than a HFC so the question is, would I need a re-tune if I swap from a HFC to a resonated test pipe? (info on my HFC below)
Current HFC: Berk HFC 100 CEL
Potential resonated test pipe: AMS
Thank You

Theoretically it would be slightly less restriction and probably push you a couple of points lean.
If you want to cut down on noise even more i would recommend getting a midpipe (the part after the cat before the muffler section) with a resonator or minimuffler. ETS exhausts have this as an option or you could go muffler shop it up with a welded in piece.
