But I find I may need an adapter or something, there is plenty of them left exposed. What kind of adapter or something I need for that?

 

You'll need a M10 x 1.25 adapter, which that listing indicates it includes, though it states 3 adapters and shows 4 adapted sizes.....I guess that's the risk of Amazon and eBay parts!

Just to show you how it looks.

The boot won't stay on it.

 

If you pop the boot off and put a zip tie under the collar, it will stay up, but the quality of that knob has me thinking it'll be a sun faded mess in no time and you'll be buying something nicer sooner than later anyway!

The AMS Delrin knob is pretty awesome and stays much more comfortable to use in hot/cold weather
