Most of the time, when I go to open my hood I hear leaves and junk slide around inside my hood.

What's the best way to get it out of there? Anybody ever had to do this before?

 

Youre referring to debris in between the sound deadening & the hood?

Just thinking: Carefully pull those plastic retrainers at the bottom of the hood (closest to the front window) & remove that debris (maybe a vacuum?)

 

No I think it's actually inside the hollow parts of the hood. I guess they got in there thought the hood vents or something. But it sounds like the small leaves and debris sliding around inside. I guess I could always just take the hood off the car and try to get them out. I was just hoping there was an easier way.

 

On my EvO9, i can find some debris inside the cabin air filter port (inside the glove box)

Is there a cabin filter on the X inside the glove box?

Just a thought

I tried the reverse action and regular suction on a shop vac.. But nothing came out.
