I'm taking in my 2010 Evo X MR to the dealership Friday and they mentioned that there is the ETACS ECU recall. I have a Cobb AP Stage1+ tune flashed on the car right now and was wondering if the recall would affect my car and tune in anyway. The dealership is mod-friendly and they even have an Evo technician so when I asked if it would affect my tune they said it "should be fine". However after doing some research it seems some threads claim their tuned car doesn't drive or idle the same the same before the recall. One even claimed the car bogs and dies. Anyone have experience with this recall while being tuned?

 

I'd skip it if your car is running fine. Not like the car is under warranty. What does the recall say it addresses?
