So I'm looking into getting this 2011 Evo x has 92k on the dash, bov blocked off, full exhaust, down pipe. It is the sst transmission, I wanna know how reliable they are and if this is a good deal on the car it'll be my first Evo been trying to find one for years now. Also I can't find a ralliart Mr Forum so did they change badges or are they just rare to find?

 

To me, the miles seem a bit high for the price. I paid $21K for my 11 MR with 51K miles, however it didn't have the OEM BBS wheels or 2-piece rotors, it is also a touring, I don't think they are as desirable. Lastly, I've never seen that MitsuMotors Evo Ralliart badge before. In the US there is a Lancer Ralliart and Lancer Evolution, so IDK..

 

That is just an added badge. There is no "ralliart" Evolution in North America.

 

THanks for clearing that up for me and they dropping the price to 20k cause they think the clutches are slipping.. they think it's like a cvt transmission so I ain't gonna say nun

 

I'd personally stay away from it unless your plans are to pull the trans.

 

so I just test drove it and it is a ralliart it only has 2 modes all other evos had 3 modes like normal, sport an s-sport. An the clutches ain't slipping it shifted into every gear like it should an didn't miss a beat even in automatic I think it may need a fluid change but other than that she shifted an built boost without slipping

 

It’s not a ralliart. It’s an Evo MR. You can only go into s-sport when holding it down for 3 seconds.

if you can’t, somebody either flashed a RA SST rom in or replaced the mechatronic with a RA one.

Just going to add my second opinion and confirm that's an Evolution MR. Good to see that the transmission is working it's an expensive part that you never want to replace.

Hello, I fixed the manual shift problem. On YouTube, a user explained how to restore manual shifting by turning the key to the on position, opening the door, turning the key to the off position, closing the door, and repeating X's 2.
I was able to get to work right immediately.
