P2069 code after intstalling new o2 sensor
P2069 code after intstalling new o2 sensor
I got a evo x that I got tuned a few weeks ago and long story short I needed a new o2 sensor because of a p0037 code so I bought a new one installed it and it was fine the code went away for I’d say 3-4days and today I got a p2069 code which says it can be a bad o2 sensor which I doubt because I got a new one installed.
It says p2069 post catalyst system lean bank 1 any ideas??

That is the secondary rear O2 sensor located after the catalytic converter, Not the primary one in located just after the turbo.
If you are running a test pipe or a different low cell count cat, then you will need to use a adapter to space the rear sensor out a bit from the hot exhaust flow post the cat or test pipe to avoid that code.
It always helps us diagnose if you give us all the specs including mods on your car Ie tuned exhaust no cat etc

HelloCheck for exhaust leaks, ensure the fuel system is functioning properly, and inspect for vacuum leaks in the intake. Also, verify the condition of the catalytic converter. Recheck the O2 sensor wiring for any faults.
Thank you
Thank you
upstream and downstream o2 sensors. so maybe have to change the one you have not changed yet?
Also, if you have any gauges, such as fuel/air ratio gauge. have to use the replacement o2 sensor from the gauge manufacturer I believe.
Hope this helps!
