Anyone have any idea what might have caused this leak. My tcase is showing a little engine oil gathering after driving.

i have a 2010 evo x se and the timing chain and guides where upgraded since it carried the old chain.

after installation no noises and car drives fine. I noticed a little wet spot by the subframe and tcase so I cleaned it off.

I will be checking it again this weekend after driving it for the week.

I will update this post once I do so.

a very reputable shop moonperformance did the work for me and said I can bring the car back if any signs of leaks. I plan to do so if it continues to show this sign even after cleaning the area.

any ideas where this leak might be from?

on a CT9A that would be the small oring. you can ask them if they used RTV

 

It’s an evo X. Is that a similar setup? They used rtv I believe as well.
