5 Evo X's Available in SE Pa.

Just wanted to let you guys know, my local dealer has 5 available. 1 WW, 1 GG, 1 Red, 1 EB and I don't know what the 5th is, it's in the showroom and I didn't go inside. The GG is fully loaded with all the options ($42K)
They are at D'Ambrosio Mitsubishi in Downingtown Pa. Its about 45min west of Philly.
I bought my car there in 04' and I can tell you they are slimeballs like most dealers, but if they have what you want you have to deal with it I guess.
They all have a "market adjustment" cost of $2500 above sticker just to let you know.

Just wanted to post in case anyone is looking.

Nice... I haven't seen any around here (Maine), and probably won't for a while.

MrBonus Feb 17, 2008 10:56 AM

I saw that on their website. I may take a trip up next Tuesday to test drive.

test drive? I can't imagine them letting people test drive them without being one signature away from purchase.

I've never had a problem test driving anything before. If they're interested in me buying one, they'll let me test drive it.

I had called to see if they had any and the guy asked me then if I wanted to make an appointment to drive it.
So yes, I would say they will let you drive the car.

Hmm that's interesting. Perhaps it's an age thing for some people.. I'm 22 years old, work 2 jobs and go to school, but I look young (maybe 19-20 i guess) so sometimes they give me a hard time.

I went to drive an 02 S2000 with 63k miles yesterday in Massachusettes and they said I couldn't without a credit App. I told him to pound sand, then while I was test driving a 350z up the street they called me back and told me to come back in and we'll take it out. Gotta love them idiot salesman

Hate to break it to you but you ARE young!

If i drive the evo to go look at cars they let me drive anything. Usually sales men will ask me to take out the fastest car on the lot even if i'm not looking at it.. just so they can go for a ride.

You gotta be 21 here to testdrive cars but i've never ever had a problem and i just turned 21 a month ago

Perhaps I am, but I work 2 jobs and have a credit score over 710. I could get financed and afford pretty much anything I want up to $25,000. When the typical assumption of someone "young" is that they can't afford the car anyway, can't get financed, etc.. I can do all of those things, therefor they have no reason to deny me a test drive on any used car, especially a 6 year old honda with 63,000 miles

"Afford" ? What do you make $50,000 a year? It is said that in order to "afford" the vehicle it should be half of your annual salary.

Second of all, I am only 22 years old and have test driven plenty of cars... being young does not deny you the test drive... it is all in how you carry/present yourself.

<<< Driven: to name a few

Brand new 2007 M5 6 Spd

2001 Porsche 911/996 C4 Turbo
2007 Porsche 911/997 C4

and all of those test drives where effortless, it was as simple as "we are here to serve you, not judge you based on what we THINK you can or can NOT afford"...

Porsche and BMW dealerships have ALWAYS treated me FAR better than Chevy/Ford/Daimler Chrysler/Mitsubishi etc etc...

I have driven a few EVO's as well... a brand new (in 2005) EVO VIII in RR, 2005 EVO MR, 2003 VIII in WW...

and the STi's have been unlimited. one or two from each year.

I test drove one yesterday. They have to believe that you are a serious buyer is all.

afford means the monthly payment should be no more than 20% of your monthly salary.

Now ask yourself, can I afford what im driving, or what I want to buy??;)

Hmm, so... $1500 after taxes a month means, $25,000 car (almost a $500 payment)... doesnt fly huh?
