I'm surprised that the X's stock O2 sensor isn't a wideband. I'm used to seeing stock widebands for the last 7 years or so. Can anybody confirm the make and model of the stock O2 sensor? Thanks.

i got my o2 bung welded in today but it looks different from urs. Mine does not go in the exhaust at all like yours does. Do you think that will be an issue?

further explanation, the tip of the bung/sensor is at the smae level as the wall of the exhaust, not inserted.

thanks

So would the red dot I put in this pic be a better location for the bung? To get it closer to 3 o'clock?

Where at in the cabin does the wiring come in? And did you have to remove some of the snaps holding the fender up?

Follow the wire coming off the front O2 sensor (grey wire in the top of the pic above.) It passes through a grommet underneath the passenger side floor. You'll need to pop a couple plastic panels off and pull back the carpet to access it.

Thanks but was able to find an unused grommet in the passenger fender. Works great.

this is where i ran mine as well...except i used the driver side since that's where my old prosport boost gauge wire ran to the engine bay (when i installed the boost gauge: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...lean-hell.html i had a lot of extra lines left with the o2 sensor wire which i just tucked in under the steering wheel column.
