Request:How to MBC install...again

i know there was a thread about installing a MBC before but the problem with the cel was never solved. also the confusion of where to T into. Im just wondering is it hard to install and importantly how to go about installing it without getting a CEL. what about a boost gauge? how and where does that go? if anyone have pictures and i how-to that can help me out that'll be grrreat. if no one has one, if i just go ahead and buy one does it come with clear intructions on how to install it? thx

If you know parts of cars you should have no problems. Most products come with generic directions not application specific.

The absolute best way to control your boost is to install the MBC directly between the turbo outlet and the wastegate actuator. Forget all about the stock boost control solenoids. The problem with that like you said is the CEL's and such. I have a MBC downstairs and I'm just waiting for better answers before I install it.

Your boost source for the gauge can either be the BOV line or the FPR line.

i guess my problem would be when it Ts off into the selenoids. some say bypass it and some say leave it hooked up.

It will almost always throw the cell even with the T in , it will boost up faster and higher than the computer is set to see. the ECU boost control will be the sweet setup on the X.

well see the thing is there's people out there that have a MBC without any problems.

Isn't the boost pill just like a manual boost controller? If you remove it doesn't your max boost drop to a lower setting? So if you remove boost pill and install your mbc in the spot where the boost pill was, will this work. That leaves both stock ebc in line .
