I've been getting an annoying rattle at the passenger side of the dash where the window meets the dash. I've taken apart the glove box area to see if I could reach back there, but a white barrel (What is it??) looking thing was in the way. It only rattles when the interior is cold, once it is warmed up it goes away. Is there access behind the dash from the engine bay on the passenger side? My next idea was to see if there is any access to behind the dash by taking off the black plastic piece where the windshield wipers are. I really don't want to take apart the dash if I don't have to...

Any ideas?

 

thats your blower motor..umm the glove box makes noise bc its not a tight fit..i put some rubber gromits in there to make it a tight fit..the ones you put under a table to chair on a wood floor..you can get this a home depot or walmart..cheap easy fix

 

It's definitely not the glove box because that was a well known issue in the last gen evos and that is not where the noise is coming from. It is definitely coming from the dash where the windshield meets the dash on the passenger side. Someone suggested that it is the airbag panel rubbing against the dash that makes the noise. I'll have to look into that sometime.
