Ive read one of these so far, and it involved drilling and tapping into the manifold while the car was idling. I was really hoping there was another way that didnt involve me breaking a drill bit off into my car. I have heard there are different access points that give lower readings, which is okay, I can just compensate for this while reading the gauge. Any help is appreciated.
Umm, you can do that but I wouldn't recommend it. I removed my manifold when I took off my turbo and did it then. Was pretty easy. Used Cobalt drill bit and 1/8th NPT tap. Just make sure to mark the spot before you take the manifold off. Put it on Cylinder number 1 (passenger side) within a few inches of the head port (don't go too close since the shield on the manifold gasket overhangs part of the manifold).
