Cobb AP Install pics
Hello all,
So everyone says how easy the Cobb AP is to install. So I tried to help out some of the folks with questions. Key word "some" if your a master tech and have done this a million times please skip over this thread.
Couple people say it will drain the battery while uploading the stock ecu config because the fans are running. So if you unplug the fans you wont have that problem. So here are some pics to help supplement the instructions.
First pic the Cobb AP
Second pic the OBD port
Thrid pic the OBD dongle connected
Fourth pic the first fan connector
Fifth pic the second fan connector
Then follow the instructions and your done. All and all it took me about 15-20mins with downloading the stock ecu config.
Oh yeah don't forget to plug the fans back in!
Now go out for a drive and fall in love all over again lol.

Why would you have to down load the stock configuration? other than when taking it into the dealership to have warenty work doneo on it. And why does it take so long to put it back to stock? doesnt it only take a few seconds to load up one of the maps ?
