New Gauges Setup! Looks OEM + AC Control Relocation

Alright after tearing my car apart quite a few times i was getting
annoyed with the boost gauge in a cup dealy on the steering wheel
just wasnt cutting it for me, since i was also using adhesive and not
drilling into the wheel hub, i needed something even more clean
and better position. Some might know me from this post
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...lean-hell.html
Well heres some pics so far, im just waiting on my next 2 gauges to
come to finish off the look, then possibly figure a way to fabricate a
wall into the glove box to finish off the ac controls.

Then relocated the ac controls to glove box til i can make a panel in the glove box for it. Unfortunatly you cant just unplug it and store it somewhere til then as the ac will automatically control the air if the controls arent plugged in and keep the air on 24/7 =\ Unless you intend on riding the ac.

These are 52mm im not sure but it might be possible to fit bigger. These 52mm Defi's came with a adhesive with a foam outer to keep the gauge snug in the cup but not stuck. So extra gauge size might work. Lemme know if anyone is interested ill have a write up very quickly if needed. Thanks

you can always relocate the ac knobs below that. A couple of people including myself have already done this... I can't say for others but personally, I didnt post it because its pretty labor intensive! You look like you've got the skills though, so try it! it fits below with a little plastic trimming!

I wish you could do this and keep the controls where they're supposed to be somehow.

Ya unfortunatly i couldnt find anyother place =\ I tried to figure every possible place but the wire for the ac was quiet short and multiwired with the passenge airbag/hazard/pass seat unit. I put my boost back up by the steering wheel until i figure out a solution. Maybe egt/temp/oil pressure there and boost on steering wheel would be good. Someone needs to make a cubby hole panel mod to fit gauges asap.

Very clean and creative however I don't see the point of installing gauges outside of your line of sight...especially, gauges that don't playback. How excellent would it be to have your speedometer or tachometer outside of your line of sight? It would make for a pain in the *** and it would almost render the gauge useless and impractical.

Not all gauges need to be in line of sight. Im pretty sure you dont need a constant view of your egt, pressure, temp, volt, etc.. on a 24/7 basis. Boost was just there for trial purposes. My boost stays at my steering hub. Not sure how a speedo or tach relate to this setup in the first place And i can see the gauges perfectly, i have no issues viewing them.
