So all you need to do is cut that pipe out and that's it?
Does anyone know if the Ralliart has the same muffler as the evo x?

This is great. I will also do this mod. Simple and free. I was going to order from Works but instead I will do it myself but I have a couple of questions. Does any know exactly what Works does? Do they just cut out he pipe and reseal the canister? Or Do they additionally, weld a round plate to cover the hole to the long path after removing the section of pipe? I have not opened my canister yet. Where is this flapper that peolpe are talking about? Does Works do anything wth it?

Anyone have the measurements for where to cut? I don't want to go in too blind.

Yeah, it's that simple. If I were able to weld this myself, I could have done it in less than two hours. Going on three months or so, the exhaust note has not changed appreciably, and I'm convinced that this was a great mod.

That makes the car sound pretty good. Not all ricer style. Might just have to take the Evo to my exhaust shop and have them make pipes for me.

did mine wednesday, rimoved the pipe, en got rid of the flanger..

love the sound when you are at full boost, it's just an evil sound.. I love it.
more bassline at stationairy rpm.

now I'm thinking to do a little extra mod in the internals..
here's the idea..

[IMG][/IMG]

green is where I would weld some nice plates to close the holes.
blue is where the now "outside" would be, but then the inside, If you know what I mean..
yellow is offcorse the new flow (probably.)

any suggestions??
