What exactly have you done? Your exhaust sounds awesome! I wanna do what you did!
This is great. I will also do this mod. Simple and free. I was going to order from Works but instead I will do it myself but I have a couple of questions. Does any know exactly what Works does? Do they just cut out he pipe and reseal the canister? Or Do they additionally, weld a round plate to cover the hole to the long path after removing the section of pipe? I have not opened my canister yet. Where is this flapper that peolpe are talking about? Does Works do anything wth it?
Yeah, it's that simple. If I were able to weld this myself, I could have done it in less than two hours. Going on three months or so, the exhaust note has not changed appreciably, and I'm convinced that this was a great mod.

did mine wednesday, rimoved the pipe, en got rid of the flanger..
love the sound when you are at full boost, it's just an evil sound.. I love it.
more bassline at stationairy rpm.
now I'm thinking to do a little extra mod in the internals..
here's the idea..

green is where I would weld some nice plates to close the holes.
blue is where the now "outside" would be, but then the inside, If you know what I mean..
yellow is offcorse the new flow (probably.)
any suggestions??
