So I did this yesterday and I forgot about the black spacers and dropped them both. I friggin hate myself now. I am pretty sure they fell straight to the underpanel and I really don't want to take it off to get them. I'd rather they just fall out with some driving. Can I buy these somewhere? I am sure pretty much every mitsu uses them.

I dropped one of those and almost gave up on it.. but LUCKILY I saw it sticking out looking right at me right underneath the fuel rail.. I was lucky! but yea it would be a PITA to loose those.. but when you get your next set.. make sure your injectors are seated properly before you torque/screw them in... apply liberal amount of lube/oil on them so the "O" rings are inserted in properly!

If you unplug your fuel pump, then crank the engine a few times, it will burn out the fuel in the system and not spray gas all over the place

I dropped a spacer when I did mine. Needed a fish stick (used to pull electrical wires) and a wad of gum to get it back, macgyver style.

To the OP: that Walbro fuel sock is no good in E85. It WILL come apart with time. Get a 8/9 fuel sock from Blaqops ASAP.

I'm just going off the pic you posted. The sock shown there is a Walbro sock, not an 8/9 sock. Did the sock come with the Blaqops kit?

Thanks for the how-to. I helped me out today and yesteray.

So I dropped the two spacers like i mentioned. Well i went back to it today and there was one looking righ at me just like. then i struck the underpanel a few times and the other one fel to the floor. i was lucky.

got it all installed and it seems to work without leaking. one thing to note was that is was hard as hell to push the bottom o-rings into the intake manifold.

That is the BlaqOps filter in the picture, not cotton, just over exposed so you cant really see the blue internals inside through the mesh.

Nice write up! I will use this when I get my injectors. Are you good running around like this or do you need to get a tune right away?
