Horn swap

Sup guys... any one know of an easier way to get to the horn. I'm swapping it with a wolo... used to have one on my GSX and it worked great, now installing on my Evo but it's a nightmare to get too. I don't want to have to pull the bumper off. It's not the one right by the hood latch in case you're going to say that.

If i'm not mistaken, it's on the driver side mounted behind the cross beam. Any objections to that? I just don't want to pull of the whole damn bumper... I might wait to get it on the lift and try to access it from under the car while i'm swapping my brakes... wanted to see if anyone knew of a less invasive way.

Also, on the Evo it's a single wire to the horn. Will I need to ground the (-) on the wolo horn to the car? Or will the wire that's already ground be fine?

Thanks

You pretty much have to take off the undertray and bumper to do it. You should plan on running a ground to the chassis.

Thanks bro. I'll plan on monday, I didn't want to start taking off the bumper in 30* weather. Any idea what gauge/amp I should get for the ground? The instructions mention a 20amp for the 2 wire setup, but our car has a single wire setup with a ground already done.

So basically connect a wire from the negative to the same location the current ground is? Just to be accurate, the current ground is for the horn on the steering wheel itself, right?

Thanks

hey any of you guys want audio/video after install? I know I've seen a few threads about after market horns. IMHO I like this one waaaay better than hella. It was only $40 on Amazon too, way cheaper than their site.

I can do a DIY if you want, video or pic

Thanks guys.

Wolo horns. Some of those can sound like wild turkeys, or play the theme from the Godfather. They also seem to make a range of air horns:

Which did you get?

I got the "give's small children heart attacks" and "makes people who drive and talk on cell phones' heads explode" one.

LOL, it's the dual horn. The 419, very first one on that page you linked. Here's a youtube link for the one I have. That's not me in the video either...
