Need help: Sparco harness bar Evo X
#16
To the guys who have installed this, thanks for the instructions and feedback.
Can you tell me if you still have full rearward travel of the seats with this bar in place, or does it limit how far you can put the seats back? Seams like the AMS bar used to advertise that it didn't limit seat travel, so I am hoping this one is similar in that respect.
Thanks

I have the Sparco bar and have out it in and taken it out several times. I just had it powder coated another color too.
The vertical support bars do have opposite threads, they have to... to enable adjustment because if not then when you adjusted one it would adjust the other and would end up being a set adjustment. Having opposite threads in each ends enables you to adjust the top without affecting the bottom and visa versa.
It's very simple to install. I can show you pics of mine Installed before being powder coated if anyone ever needs it.

Here you go, I changed the position of my bar after I had it powder coated so that's why your see it's cut a little high on the top.
I'd recommend getting the bar in the position you want before commencing any cutting, it's very easy to cut with a new Stanley blade. Your just have to notch away at it till it's nice and snug. There will be a gap on the back of the plate to the pillar as there is no way to cut a hole small enough to slide it over the bracket then install the bar.
