Well the time has come for me to replace my clutch. I have done this before on an Evo 8 and Evo IX, but this is my first for the X. Being that I have heard/read that the install is rather different than that of it's predecessors, I have read the install guide over and over, and have gotten under the car to ultimately plan my attack plan. Tomorrow I will be install my new clutch, and was just wondering for those who have already trekked on this agonizing journey if there are any tips, tricks or shortcuts, besides the dropping of the subframe, and pinning up of the transfer case, that may aid in completely this task rather quickly. I have heard that the downpipe (which is stock) doesn't have to be removed, not sure if that;s accurate though. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
