How to install Aerocatch
How to install Aerocatch
Here's a quick look of how I installed my Aerocatch on my Octane blue e10. Bear in mind I am no professional and there may have been better ways to do it and or better materials to use out there. Pardon my England as it is not my first language.

Locate the point where the Rubber Damper on your Bonnet sits onto the Front Sub-frame when closed. Drill a pilot hole.

Enlarge the hole to enable the pin to be inserted. Spray the now bare metal with paint or some anti-rust compound.

Secure the pin with the hardware included and allow the pin to protrude 3”-4”

Now go to the underside and cut-out a circular hole at the Rubber damper mount location.

you want to apply some Colgate to the top of the Pin, couldn't think of any better material to use.

Now you want to close your bonnet until it rests onto the pins, this will transfer the Colgate to the underside of the bonnet, marking a pilot drill spot you will need to make. No turning back now.

Now enlarge the holes from the top, big enough for the pins to come through

use a string or rope to get an alignment that you would like to see your Aerocatch angled at. And apply the template.

Now you kill your 2k investment Carbon fibre Bonnet by cutting it up.

Completed cut out. Insert the Aerocatch and mark out the 6 Screw holes. Drill the screw holes

Completed with screw holes and Remove the masking/painters tape.

Now we go back to the underside and make a cut out. This is to facilitate the installation of the anchor nuts and washers.

now we install the Aerocatch with some RTV , secured with the screws and nuts provided and we adjust the pin height to align with the aerocatch

Voila congrats successful DIY
