How to change or turn off Oil Interval settings (VID)

Hey Guys and Gals..Apparently there's alot of people who don't know how to change/turn off the oil interval/reminder on their Evo X and there isn't any video on how to do it atleast none that I can find.. anyways I made this video to help those in need so it'll save you a time or worst.. trip to the dealer.

Here's a link to the video:

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Key on "Lock" position
2. Press "Info" button until oil interval/service reminder pops up
3. Press and hold the "Info" button until beep is heard.. do this 4 times until the option screen pops up
4. Once option screen pops press "Info" button 3 times fast until blinking then select to which ever option you desire. (If menu goes back to main oil interval setting it means you didn't press it fast enough so you must start over.

Hope this helps

So I've asked before and never really got an answer, but I have a 2015 and when I change these settings and use NAS 11, I don't get 3600/3. I get 5400/9 instead.

I've tried all the different options, but cannot figure out how to get 3600/3.

I was trying for a good while when i learned how to use it to get it set to every 3000 miles and couldn't for life of me get it right. kept going to 3600 and so i just turned it off and use a little sticker in top right of window lol.

Same thing is happening to me on my 2014 MR Could anyone with 2014/15 Evo confirm the correct code for 3600/3?

Hmm, I figure everyone kept a spreadsheet of all their maintenance.

Some of the options are hilarious. 2700 miles and 74 months.

Ok, thanks for this. It's actually working very well, all the different settings.
Do you know how to enter "Option" and change settings there?
And how can I reset oil change for real? Only with MUT-III?
When I choose e.g. EU 11, it should state 7k5 km (5k miles) and 6 months, but it doesn't because the oil change done for real is not known to this stupid display / ECU... And the language is odd as well. Seems to be German... How can I change that (as well)?

EDIT: This "computer" is really a simple one...
Just follow the procedures above. If you change the type of service interval reminder, you must reset the maintenance reminder every time. Otherwise it just sums up all the changes you've done to something like 19 months and 22'000km or so. Stupid thing! Switch it off!

EU should be European Union. I checked my settings for each one of the listings and they are different than what he shows in the video. My guess if you see NAS then that should be North American Specification.

In the service manual it's referred to as "Service Reminder". There's some info on it in 54A-93, which is page 93 of GR00006400-54A.pdf

Looks like the values can easily be changed with a tool. Also not sure which year this manual is specifically for, so factory options could be different.

But I think you can just set each option, then back out to the main screen and it will tell you what intervals it's configured with. Would take a lot of time but doable.
