I tried searching for how tos on compression Test for the Evo X but only found stuff for the older Evo generation. The part I have question about is how to get the throttle plate open? I read somewhere that putting the accelerator to the floor for the Evo X doesn't open the throttle body because it's drive by wire. What would be the proper procedure here?

Also tried searching for a leakdown test how tos without any luck. Any help will be much appreciated

you dont have to test the whole system in 1 go. maybe try to test from throttle body and just jam something on the plate
