to each his own fellows........lol
me personally i compromise sound quality for trunk space and leg room in this case.......Also when road racing and autox ing i tend not to want the extra weight that comes with it.....

the sub is mounted upfront, a focal 8" woofer in a sealed enclosure (refer to post #723). the false floor with the plexi is actually the access point for the spare tire. the amp rack has a relatively small footprint so there's still generous space in the trunk to haul stuff.
thanks awdownzu...i'm based in the eastbay CA area...Kartunz of Pleasanton CA did the custom install.

Here's a simple interior. Minimal gauges and pretty simplistic setup. Hope it's not too bland to all you guys with baller setups
This picture is somewhat old but nothing changed except I just ordered an ARC Titan shift knob

I love your system and its install. I'm actually thinking of mounting a 8" sub in a manner similar to yours, albeit installed in the corner of the foot well. Now I just need to find someone who can make the enclosure.

hey anyone ever try to do something this complicated.....
i know ist a horrible pshop....wasnt even pshop, more like paint but how nice would this be.....would completely eliminate the need for a Orbital Kit

It would be really hard to relocate the vents. I've thought about doing a similar dash pod to house gauges but I think I'd prefer nav in the current location.

If anything, the hardest part would be to mold the top part for the navi....and maybe route new spaces for the vents

I finally finished paging through this thread to find the pics of the one interior that I saw a little while back. I noticed that some didn't come up because the photos may not have been hosted anymore..
anyway, I'm trying to find the interior that had the following (just going off what I remember
)
- Double-Din screen
- Defi gauges on the a-pillar
- Relocated h-vac knobs
- Arc ti shift knob
- And want to say bride seats, but i think they were some aftermarket ones or the recaro leathers..
let me know if anyone has these pics or where I can find them
