man i am jealous! I currently have a 98 eclipse gsx.. and was thinkin about salein it and gettin a evo.. but the 8/9 body look better than the 10 imo. but who knows it might grow on me like the newer STi's did

Okay, so to answer some questions:
Hands down, the X is the DD driver here. Its very quiet behind the drivers seat. The recaros definitely give you better side support than the recaros in the 9. Everything is sound insulated now so it literally rides like a Lexus - soundwise.
Powerband is much smoother than the 9 and there is little to no turbo surge or lag. It feels like a naturally aspirated car.
The SAWC is everything it was made out to be and more. Suspension is a dream. The X just floats over speedbumps but corners like no other. You can actually feel the rear pushing itself behind you to make the turns
The Information computer is actually extremely nice:
Car tells you avg. mpg, miles until empty, TMPS sensor, SWAC display, etc.
The rockford fosgate system from the SSS package is nice, but nothing to cry home about.
Brakes definitely feel better and finally worthy of the Brembo name on them
Downsides?
Theres definitely more blind spots now. The wing is double the thickness than the 9 so visibility can be a problem.
