Can anyone elaborate on this option, or what package it's a part of? Might seem like a mundane question but I'm curious to know. I think the key hole position is horrible and the back of the car looks a lot cleaner without it. Pictures for reference...

With key hole:

this looks like the plain old GSR and no SSS package, i think that the SSS package also adds FastKey sensor in trunk

Yeah the bottom pic looks like a bone-stock GSR with no addon's. Well ok maybe Navi on the inside, but thats about it.

Notice the shorty wing on the GSR too … looks a bit more subtle.

The top one is a GSR with only the SSS package (2k)

The bottom one is a GSR with only the Aero package (2k)

SSS comes with a keyless FAST remote, hence no keyhole.

The top one has the key hole
The bottom does not

Incorrect.

The bottom pic does not have the Aero Package » small spoiler

So i think its the other way around.

The Aero package does not include the spoiler. It's just the front lip, sideskirts, and rear valences which you can clearly see on the bottom pic.

As for my assumption regarding the SSS package, i'm totally wrong - so what i said doesn't make sense, besides the Aero package bit. Maybe all of the SSS package cars have the keyhole? Maybe it's necessary for the added weight of the wing?

This topic has nothing to do with the aero kit guys. Thats a completely different addon.

pltek already nailed this one.
