Well thats neat. Are the A/C knobs just rotary switches? Or (dare i say it) cable driven? I would imagine they are 3 seperate rotary switches in some kind of housing.

Rotary, not cable driven like the VIII was. So no more recalls on the frozen cables. The climate controls on the VIII are just aweful. This is definitely a nice upgrade to those controls.

the A pillars are equipped with side curtain air bags. Im sure there will be a pillar mount made, but i dont think it would be recommended.

that looks like a great piece. id definately want something like that. it has a "sleeper" look to it... no gauges flashing or showing in the window or dash.
