WHO NEEDS A PHOTOCHOP?

When we already did it?

Johann painted the bottom front lip, the emblem and took the fog lights out too

I love the look of that. Do the mounting holes line up or did you have to do some metal and paint work? Looks great!

No metal or paint work was necessary, but 4 holes needed to be drilled to make sure it's secure. Otherwise, it was pretty painless!

That's what I was thinking too.

I like the 8/9 wing better but I'm still mixed on how it looks on the X.

Question

Anyone thinking about doing a 8/9 tailight conversion?

OH shizzle that evo x with the evo viii/ix wing looks hard. I can't tell if theirs carbon fiber on the sides of the wing. . Something needs to be done about those taillight covers or the light covers on the inside it reminds me of a ms6. A car I dislike as a whole for what is.

Did a quick amateur chop with the clone brush. Too bare now? Too puny looking?

I plan to take the tails apart and paint all the red plastic black to look like the JDM EVO IX ones. Maybe this weekend.

Anyone care to post a regular X spoiler from the back, as well as a X with the SSS spoiler from the back? That way we can get a look of the three. I have to say that I am interested in buying a X soon, but do not need or want the extra weight of the HID's, and stereo. However I feel the bigger wing helps show off the evo. I am glad that you were able to make this work with the evo 8 spoiler.

I noticed on your first and second picture on the right inside part of the spoiler there looks to be a hole that is plugged. I know the X spoiler has more mounting holes than the 8/9, what did you do to cover or stop these holes from leaking?
