Powered coated rims for the X?

I heard someone say they bought a WW GSR X with powder coated white rims. Is this an option? And if so, anyone got any pics?

I saw it in person when we bought ours last week. Looks very good! They also had gloss black on an Octane Blue GSR. This is not a factory option, but certain independent dealers offer this on their own terms.

I dunno, I am scared of how quickly they would turn black from brake dust.

It got edited out because its another EvoXforums I am guessing. That is really petty actually. We all post other forum links. Come on mods, thats not in the rule list and its very low.

South Coast is offering it as an option, but it's between $850 & $900, if I remember correctly. A place locally to me, can powder coat rims for about $60 a piece. So, that would be $240 + wheel removal if you need it. Waaaaay cheeper. South Coast is jacking up the price because they can & they know people will pay for it, just so they won't have to figure it out for themselves.

You know, I like my GG colored MR rims on my VIII, but I wouldn't mind having them powder coated to black. I think that would look kinda cool!
