the one thing that i thought was pretty cool that i had not noticed before, is that apperently the battery is in the trunk.

apperently they wanted a straighter shot for their IC pipes. which is pretty neat. i've always said that mitsubishi puts a hell of alot of thought into why everything is the way it is on the evo.

god willing i will pick one of these up in two or three years as a daily driver, so i can make my IX into a time attack beast.

 

So what is the benefit of straighter pipes?

 

i really like the X in red...

 

shortest route. it gets there faster and easier with less turbulance i would imagine. probably helps spool a little faster too.

similar to how the amc licp (for example) does the ct9a.
