I wonder why the oil pan still has the hump for the downpipe...they could have added more oil capacity.

Its open on the other side because of the oil cooler.

My point is that it should be open on this side as well simply to match, filled in vents look very amateurish and speak of budget cars with fake performance.

I agree 100%. I am taking it off when my AMS brake cooling kit arrives.

I will definitely see you June 28-29th. I want to feel the AYC at work before I decide on anything. I'm still pretty hooked on my IX RS so we'll see.

Because you've tracked your IX I'd be interested in a full comparison/review from you.
