Anyone paint NACA Duct on hood?

Has anyone painted the naca duct on the hood black or can anyone photoshop this?

I'm sure someone will make a carbon fiber scoop for this eventually aswell

can that duct be easily removed from under the hood?

The scoop is held in with 5 bolts and 2 plastic 'push' fasteners. To get to the scoop you have to remove 8 or so of those spring fasteners and 1 (or 2 if you desire) of the plastic fasteners, which are a ***** to remove, that hold the metal plate under the hood.

So, yeah, I painted mine black. Right now, I'm thinking I shouldn't have.... The scoop is just lay in there right now as I haven't bolted it back in yet.

I thought the title said something about the NCAA...march madness has taken me over.

Anyway, I think it looks good, +1 for uniqueness. Post some pics from further away for perspective.

That looks really good. If you didn't know what it's supposed to look like you'd think it's stock.

my reccomendation is paint the top part across the hood white again but leave all the inner part of the duct black. but over all it looks nice.. it just seem like doesnt have the right shape.

I think I like it without the white strip better. Looks awesome.

Yeah, I see what you're saying. I think it would look great with the top surround white but, well, I painted it myself so there was no way that was going to happen . It's actually growing on me but I'm still not completely sold. So, why paint it then? Well, it pissed me off that the scoop was a different colour than the rest of the hood so it was either get it painted the right colour, or contrast. Cheaper to contrast .

Mitsubishi quality. The scoop was more of a creamy white than Wicked White. I looked at 2 other white cars at the stealership and their scoops were slightly different colours too.
