yup, left sd a little before 8, made a stop in irvine to meet up with another guy, total of 8 cars, we made it up to buttonwillow a little after 11, the drive back down to sd was hell. but well worth it, can't wait to do more track days!

i did it over a span of 3 days, probably took me a good 3 hours, took my time and did a pretty good job. as far as doing it next time, i guess it depends on the track. the photog there said it's not really necessary at that track since it's mostly dry dirt or in our case mud. the other track, willowsprings, is more rocks so i would probably tape up for that one. there's also this painters stuff that looks like saranwrap which is a bit easier to apply. so maybe i'll try that next time. if i don't do the whole front i would probably just tape up the important parts, heads/fogs, rear bumper by the fenders, rear door. i guess it all depends on how much time i have next time also, and how lazy i am

i ripped off most of the tape before my last run

also a couple more from the day:

still need to upload the pro pics that i bought
