It's not a fake and it's not do-luck. This carbon fiber trunk is made by Seibon. Fitment is spot on. These pictures were taken immediately after getting the painted trunk back from the shop and the trunk was just slapped on. I may get some pictures by the end of the weekend showing the trunk lined up and fitted properly.

 

unfortunately it's fake , it's a direct copy of the do-luck one. Poor effort. Why can't they come out with something of their own , the VR lip was a good front lip. Hopes to everyone continue buying the genuine one.

 

Is everything you buy original? I guarantee it's not. Look at the items around your houses and you will find 'fakes' everywhere. Things are made cheaper, faster, and sometimes better all the time.

Maybe you should accuse Do-luck of copying the duck bill spoilers from the BMW's. Either way, I'm not going to spend $1249.00 for a trunk, when I can get one for LESS than half ($599). Fitment was 9/10 and I heard fitment on the do-luck isn't perfect either. So congrats to you for willing to over pay for something.

I have the trunk I wanted and I have an extra $650. Only difference between my trunk and the do-luck is the name. Believe me, I do pay extra if I know the quality is better. In this case, the quality was great and the price was unbeatable.
